Swimmer Critical after Dee Why Rescue
A MAN is fighting for his life after he was pulled from the surf at a northern Sydney beach.
An ambulance spokesman said the man, aged in his 20s, was not breathing when surf lifesavers reached him around 11am today at Dee Why.
They performed CPR on the him until road and helicopter ambulance crews arrived at the scene.
The man was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
